Hello, this is our first message to the worldwide web. I am excited to begin this digital journey with you all. I envision this website to educate people on the ways to do business in an ever changing digital era.
I am Shih-Kai Wu Papic, and obtained a B.S. degree in Business & Marketing from New York University (Class of 24′). I was originally born in Santiago Chile, but moved to Shanghai China early in 2010 to study Chinese culture. My whole life is a combination of these 3 cities: Shanghai, Santiago and New York City.
My experiences living and studying abroad have widely broadened my perspective on business as a whole. As it turns out, the culture of a place, its people, their practices, these are all things that dictate how a business should approach a market. Hence the question: What strategies do companies use to become successful in international grounds?
Vision for this site
Beginning from 2024, this site will slowly publish business cases that focus on analyzing the strategies implemented by a variety of companies, ranging from the biggest players from the S&P 500 index to small startups. As new content continues to pour in, we will end up with a collection of handcrafted business cases that are styled similarly to the Harvard Business Review cases.
Conclusion
Marketing is a constantly changing art-form, it is a topic that takes shape in many forms and one that is present in every aspect of business. My passion for this subject is forever burning, I believe if things go well, I may still find myself publishing business cases 10 years from now.
